SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed with regard to the substantial variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to sassa service the area on a regular basis. The assistance stage produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective here beneficiaries, which makes it status sassa tricky for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
